Ihr Single-Debüt „Lo Siento Amigo“ verschaffte der am linken Niederrhein beheimateten Sängerin einen ersten TV-Auftritt bei der Talkshow „Arabella“ (PRO 7).

Danach folgten zahlreiche regionale Auftritte, sowie die Veröffentlichung einer weiteren Maxi-CD „Bild dir bloß nichts ein“.

Nach einer durch berufliche und private Gründe bedingten Schaffenspause, startete die Künstlerin Ende 2008 mit dem Titel „Rien ne va plus“ im Gepäck wieder voll durch.

Im Laufe des Jahres 2009 nahm die Sängerin erfolgreich an dem von Uwe Hübner neu konzipierten „Hitparadies Talent-Contest“ teil und schaffte es aus über 600 Bewerbern bis in die Finalrunde.

Dann stand es fest:Der 70er Jahre Klassiker" DU BIST MEIN SCHÖNSTER GEDANKE" wurde für Sie ausgewählt und spontan sagte Sie: " Die 70er Jahre,das ist genau der Stil der mir liegt."kvm Erste Reaktionen vom Publikum waren sehr positiv,aber auch die Musikwelt war sehr beeindruckt.

"Dann kam Ihr eine Idee!" Warum nicht die 70er Jahre zurückholen..? "Den Anstoß dazu gab Ihr Peter Sebastian, der mit Ihr den Titel:"Du bist mein schönster Gedanke" für den Sampler DJLK Vol16 produzierte..und davon überzeugt war: "Die gute alte Zeit, die paßt zu Dir!" Sie selbst sagt: Die 70er Jahre waren die schönste Zeit meines Lebens! Die Musik, die Klamotten und das solide Leben von damals, dürfen nicht in Vergessenheit geraten! Produzent und Arangeur Jörg Lamster, war von Andreas Idee sofort überzeugt und gemeinsam wurden speziell alte Schlager gewählt, die schon damals zu Hits gemacht wurden.. Liebe zur Musik und zum deutschen Schlager hat Andrea Stein schon von
Kindesbeinen an verfolgt. Früh begann sie musikalische Erfahrungen zu sammeln - erst im Chor der Musikschule, später bei diversen Talent- und Karaokeschows. Bald wurde auch ein Produzententeam auf die ehrgeizige, junge Sängerin aufmerksam und man begann unter professionelleren Bedingungen an der Gesangskarriere zu arbeiten. Ein Repertoire aus schwungvollen, bekannten Titeln wurde erstellt, das optimal auf Stimme und
Show der am linken Niederrhein beheimateten Sängerin zugeschnitten wurde. Damit gewann Andrea Stein schnell die Herzen ihrer Zuhörer.
