Alexandra Stan is a Romanian singer. She was born in Constanza, Romania on June 10, 1989. She was only 3 years old when her parents noticed her talent, and since then she received full support from them. She studied at the Traian Lyceum in Constanca and currently is studying International Relations and Romanian Law.

She participated in a lot of music contest but her best appearance was at Mamaia Festival where she impressed the audience with her beautiful and versatile voice.

The biggest step in her carrier was in 2009 when she started working with Marcel Prodan and Andrew Nemirschi from Maan Studio. They brought her in their team and they together made songs with huge impact on the Romanian public. The first two singles “Show me the way” and “Lollipop” were liked by the Romanian radios and that proved that they were a great team.

After that Alexandra was invited in a lot of TV Shows and Radio Shows, starting to create a name for herself. Her video Lollipop also known as Lollipop (Param Pam Pam) reached nearly 55 milion views on You Tube and it was launched all over the world like: USA, Uk, Canada, Czech Republic, Russia, Israel etc…

The singer has lots of concerts in her country and in Europe, she has performed even in Canada.

Alexandra’s biggest success until now is the single “Mr Saxobeat” which she released in autumn of 2010. The song drew a lot of attention and became the most viewed video on You Tube that week. The single reached the first places on different charts in Europe. In Italy the single reached number one position on the chart and stayed there for a while. In the United Kingdom it reached position number three being the first Romanian artist to achieve the highest charting record. In France the song peaked at position number six. Her single reached the top spot on Romanian Top 100 and stayed there for eight consecutive weeks in 2010, being the longest-running number one. It was on the fist positions also in Latin America.

Mr Saxobeat is an up-tempo dance song with house elements in it. The song features a saxophone throughout and uses some trance beats. The lyric of the song is a love message where Alexandra speaks of a man she is attracted to and the way he makes her move. The video was shot in Buftea next to Bucharest. There appears Stan as a prisoner and handcuffed from where she escapes seducing a guard.

Alexandra Stan has become one of the most successful artists in Romania and she is the third Romanian singer after Inna and Edward Maya ft Vika Jigulina that was on the top of the US Hot Dance Airplay chart. In 2011 she released another single called “Get Back (ASAP)” which has not yet reached the successes of “Mr Saxobeat” but we can say that Alexandra is on the right track and we are going to hear other great hits from this talented

Juni 1989 in der 300.000-Einwohner-Hafenmetropole Constanta an der rumänischen Schwarzmeerküste geboren - einer Stadt, die in der Vergangenheit bereits diverse international bekannte Musikern hervor gebracht hatte. Nach ihrem Abschluss an der "Traian High School" widmete sie sich einem Management-Studium an der "Andrei Saguna Universität", wo sie aktuell noch als Studentin eingeschrieben ist.

Ihre große Musikalität war ihrer Familie bereits im Alter von drei Jahren aufgefallen, auch Freunde und Bekannte waren über alle Maßen erstaunt über ihr Gesangstalent, das ihr Umfeld mit vereinten Kräften zu fördern versuchte. Alexandra nahm an einer Vielzahl von Wettbewerben teil, u.a. beim "Mamaia"-Musikfestival, wo sie das Publikum mit ihrer vielseitigen Stimme begeisterte.

Der bislang wichtigste Moment in ihrer Musikkarriere ergab sich schließlich 2009, als sie die beiden "Maan Studio"-Macher Marcel Prodan and Andrew Nemirschi kennenlernte, die ihr Ausnahmetalent ebenfalls sofort erkannten und sie in ihr Team holten. In den folgenden Jahren wurde Alexandra für das Produzenten- und Songwriter-Duo nicht nur zu einer Quelle der Inspiration und Muse - gemeinsam schufen sie auch zahlreiche Songs, die ihnen große (nationale und internationale) Erfolge bescherten.

"Als ich die Jungs zum ersten Mal traf, wusste ich sofort, dass wir ein großartiges Team werden würden", erinnert sich Alexandra. "Ich wäre heute nicht in der Lage, vor einem Publikum zu singen, wenn sie nicht gewesen wären. Dafür werde ich ihnen immer dankbar sein."

Schon mit den ersten Songs "Show Me The Way" und "Lollipop" wurde auch allen Außenstehenden klar, dass hier ein Erfolgs-Projekt entstanden war. Die erste offizielle Single "Lollipop" lief im rumänischen Radio und Alexandra wurde in diverse TV-Shows eingeladen. Unzählige Auftritts-Anfragen sorgten dafür, dass die junge Sängerin schon bald auf den Bühnen des ganzen Landes ihre Songs zum Besten gab. Ihr rasanter Popularitätsanstieg war für jedermann auch an ihren YouTube-Plays abzulesen: innerhalb kürzester Zeit sahen über drei Millionen (!) Menschen den Clip zu "Lollipop".

Die Lizensierungs-Wünsche ließen nicht lange auf sich warten: Labels aus Großbritannien, Irland, Kanada, der Tschechischen Republik, Russland, Italien, Frankreich, Israel und den USA erkundigten sich nach der Möglichkeit, den Song veröffentlichen zu dürfen.

Im Herbst 2011 folgte mit "Mr. Saxobeat" Alexandras Follow-Up-Single, die in Windeseile die Aufmerksamkeit der Blogger auf sich zog, zu einer der meistgesehensten Videos bei YouTube wurde und sich flugs auf Platz eins der rumänischen Charts platzierte. Wie bereits "Lollipop" zuvor erscheint "Mr. Saxobeat" in vielen Ländern weltweit - in Kürze auch in Deutschland.

Alexandra Stan, cantareata de muzica dance, s-a nascut pe data de 10 iunie 1989 in Constanta.
Alexandra Stan a urmat studiile la Liceul Teoretic `Traian` din orasul in care s-a nascut si este studenta la Facultatea de Management `Andrei Saguna`. A participat la diferite concursuri pe teme muzicale cu o aparitie notabila la Festivalul de la Mamaia sectiunea interpretare.
Alexandra Stan si-a descoperit pasiunea pentru muzica la varsta de trei ani, muza ei fiind mica sirena Ariel, din celebrul desen animat. Intrarea in industria muzicala autohtona a fost posibila datorita baietilor de la MAAN Studio (Marcel Prodan si Andrei Nemirschi).
Primul single Alexandra Stan, `Lollipop`, a fost lansat in anul 2009. Piesa este despre o fata careia ii place sa linga acadele, iar videoclipul low cost cu Alexandra lingand acadele imbracata in scolarita obraznica au lasat o impresie destul de proasta despre tanara aspiranta la statulul de artista. `Lollipop` n-a fost tocmai un succes, insa datorita acestei piese, lumea a inceput sa auda mai des numele `Alexandra Stan`.
Dupa cateva luni in care nimeni nu mai pomenea de ea, Alexandra Stan a lansat cel de-al doilea single, `Mr Saxobeat`. Se intampla in toamna lui 2010. Melodia a prins intai la publicul din Turcia, unde a ajuns la o luna de la lansare, pe locul 1 la un post de radio. Incet, incet, `Mr Saxobeat` a inceput sa fie si pe placul romanilor. In iarna lui 2010 a aparut si videoclipul `Mr Saxobeat`.
Franta, Canada, Israel, Spania, Italia sunt doar cateva dintre tarile in care Mr Saxobeat a ajuns number one. In primavara lui 2011, Alexandra Stan a lansat cel de-al treilea single, `Get Back (ASAP)`.
In timp ce cantareata isi promova noul single, `Mr Saxobeat` continua sa faca furori in Europa si in America. In State, `Mr Saxobeat` a stationat cinci saptamani pe locul 1 in Billboard Hot Dance Airplay, un record pentru un artist roman.
In iulie 2011, Alexandra Stan a primit Discul de Platina in Italia pentru vanzarile singleului `Mr Saxobeat`. Pentru toamana lui 2011, Alexandra Stan pregateste lansarea albumului de debut, intitulat `Saxobeats`.
