Mickie Krause (* 21. Juni 1970; eigentlich Michael Engels) ist ein deutscher Sänger und Entertainer aus Wettringen. Er tritt seit 1999 regelmäßig in der Discothek Riu Palace an der Platja de Palma auf Mallorca auf und gehört in der Hauptsaison ebenso wie Jürgen Drews zu den erfolgreichsten Akteuren der Szene. In der Wintersaison hat er zahlreiche Auftritte bei Après-Ski-Partys in den dafür bekannten Wintersportorten sowie auf Mallorca-Partys in ganz Deutschland. Im RTL-Spendenmarathon 2006 ersteigerte Krause den „König-von-Mallorca-Mantel“ seines Kollegen Drews.

Mit dem Song Zehn nackte Friseusen hatte er 1999 seinen Durchbruch. Diese und weitere Singles schafften auch immer wieder den Sprung in die deutschen Hitparaden.

Krauses Lieder gehören in den Bereich der Partymusik. In vielen seiner Songs verwendete er die Melodien bekannter Klassiker und Oldies, die mit neuen Texten versehen wurden. Supa Deutschland beispielsweise enthielt Motive aus „Guantanamera“, Orange trägt nur die Müllabfuhr basiert auf „Go West“ von den Pet Shop Boys, Ich glaub hier ist doch wieder Alkohol im Spiel verwendete stellenweise die Melodie von „Over in the Glory Land“ und Jan Pillemann Otze die von „Sieben Tage lang (Was wollen wir trinken)“. Sein 2007 erschienenes Album „Vom Mund in die Orgel“ mit Einspielungen gängiger Mundorgel-Klassiker erinnert an seine Zeit als aktives Mitglied bei den christlichen Pfadfindern. „Ich will zehn nackte Friseusen…“. Es war der Song in der Partywelt, der jeden die Luft anhalten ließ. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit sang ganz Mallorca sowie sämtliche Partyhochburgen Deutschlands diesen Hit.
Über 100.000 Exemplare gingen über den Ladentisch, zehn Wochen lang hielt sich der Song in den Top 50 der Media-Control-Charts. Das Jahr 1999 war der Beginn eines Triumphzuges für Mickie Krause, der bis heute jede Party in Deutschland und Europa erschüttern lässt.

Über 10 Jahre später ist der Münsterländer der erfolgreichste Partykünstler überhaupt. Immer wieder gelangen ihm neue Charterfolge, seine Show ist einzigartig und unerreicht. Mickie Krause ist Kult und ein Ende ist nicht in Sicht.
Sein erster Song „Anita“ bescherte ihm damals den ersten Auftritt im

RIU-Palace, der Kultdiscothek auf Mallorca, welches fort an sein Wohnzimmer wurde. Seitdem räumt Mickie Krause dort Jahr für Jahr wöchentlich in der Saison von Mai bis Oktober ab und sorgt für Begeisterungsstürme. Krause ist der einzige Künstler überhaupt, der noch im RIU-Palace auftritt und ist von der Insel nicht mehr wegzudenken.
Was sich im Sommer auf Mallorca abspielt verlagert sich im Winter in Österreichs Apres-Ski-Gebiete. Und auch am Goldstrand in Bulgarien räumt Mickie Jahr für Jahr ab. Jeder Partyfan kennt seine Hits und egal ob in Deutschland, auf Mallorca oder in jeder anderen Partyhochburg: Seine Auftritte werden zu einem echten Erlebnis. Da ist es kein Wunder das Mickie Krause zurecht nicht nur der wahre „König von Mallorca“, sondern auch gerne der König des Apres-Ski genannt wird. Denn kein anderer Künstler seines Genres schafft es jedes Jahr wieder mit neuen Gassenhauern so sein Publikum zu begeistern wie er.
Nach der Massenhysterie um die „10 nackten Friseusen“ veröffentlichte Mickie Krause im Jahr 2001 sein lang ersehntes erstes Album, welches sich direkt auf Platz 74 der Charts wieder fand. Mit „Geh doch zu Hause“ legte Mickie den nächsten Stein und landete auch mit diesem Hit in den Charts, wo er zehn Wochen vertreten war.
„Knockin on heavens door“ (2002) fand sich dort genauso wieder wie sein zweites Album “Krausealarm” (2003). Zudem entwickelten sich seine Songs „Reiss die Hütte ab“ (2002) und „Du bist zu blöd um aussem Busch zu winken“ (2003) zu den großen Partyhits der Mallorca- und Apres-Ski-Saison. Gastauftritte bei Big Brother, sowie oftmals bei SAT1 ließen seinen Beliebtheitsgrad nur noch höher steigen.

In den Jahren 2004 und 2005 ging Krause eigene Wege und veröffentlichte in Eigenregie erfolgreich Songs wie „Wirft der Arsch auch Falten“, „Alle total versaut“ und „Arschgeweih“ und gründete mit Kumpel Amaretto das Duo „Krausetto“. 2006 lässt Mickie seine alten Pfadfinderzeiten wieder aufleben und landete mit dem Kirchenklassiker „Laudato Si“ den nächsten Hit. Und auch „Oh wie ist das schön“, sein Beitrag zur Fußball-WM im eigenen Land ist bis heute ein großer Erfolg. Dazu landete die lang erwartete Live-DVD mit seiner Band live aus dem RIU-Palace ebenfalls in den Charts, genauso wie sein Album „Wie Blei in den Regalen“ (vier Wochen Charts).

Der Skandalsong des Jahres 2007 kam von Mickie Krause. „Finger im Po-Mexiko“ polarisierte nicht nur in Deutschland, sondern rief die mexikanischen Politiker auf den Plan. Der Versuch den Song zu verbieten scheiterte. Die Konsequenz aus dem daraus resultierenden Medienspektakel war ein Platz 43 in den Charts und der Karnevalshit der Saison.
Das darauf folgende nächste Album „Vom Mund in die Orgel“ (erstmalig inklusive einem Duett mit Jürgen Drews) platzierte sich drei Wochen in den Charts.
2008 schaffte Mickie Krause das was vorher noch keinem Partykünstler zuvor gelang. Mit insgesamt 7 (!!!) Produkten, davon zwei Songs gleichzeitig in den Top 30 fegte der Partystar durch die Charts. „Supa Deutschland“ (Platz 16), „Orange trägt nur die Müllabfuhr“ (Platz 26) waren Mega-Hits. Dazu entwickelte sich „Jan Pillemann Otze“ zu einem Gassenhauer, welcher sich noch bis weit in das nächste Jahr tragen sollte. Und auch sein erstes Best-Of-Album „10 Jahre Unterhaltung“ platzierte sich vier Wochen in den Charts. Eines der erfolgreichsten Krause-Jahre wurde mit einer starken TV-Präsenz belohnt. „The Dome“, „Hitgiganten“, „Das perfekte Promi-Dinner“ waren nur einige Highlights.

„Düp Düp“ auch bekannt als der Dart-Song stand diesem Erfolg im Jahr 2009 in nichts nach und marschierte ebenfalls in die Charts.
Doch damit nicht genug. Ans Aufhören denkt Mickie Krause bei diesem Erfolg deswegen noch lange nicht. „Ich habe mein Hobby zum Beruf gemacht und das macht mir viel zu viel Spass“, sagt der meist gebuchteste Partykünstler der letzten Jahre.
Und jetzt geht es erst richtig los. Denn im WM-Jahr 2010 hat Mickie wieder einige Überraschungen für uns parat.
